Programs

Six practices,
taught in their full form.

Each program below is a complete method in itself. Together they form the syllabus of Classical Hatha Yoga as transmitted through Sadhguru and the Isha Foundation — precise, structured, body-to-body.

— A short introduction

Connecting with the sun and moon.

Sadhguru describes how Classical Hatha Yoga uses the body to align with cosmic rhythm — the foundation for everything taught below.

Practice 01

Surya Kriya

A potent yogic practice of tremendous antiquity, designed as a holistic process for health, wellness, and complete inner wellbeing.

Surya Kriya is the slow burn of the syllabus — a precise sequence offered as a two-day intensive. Both sessions must be attended to complete the practice. Once learned, it can be practiced lifelong.

Surya Shakti

Surya means sun; Shakti means energy. Surya Shakti is a complete process. 108 daily is enough for physical and energetic fitness — no other exercise required.

Practiced consistently, it puts the body in a different energy state altogether. Taught as a foundation for those committing to a daily practice.

Practice 03

Upa Yoga

A simple, powerful set of practices that activates the joints, muscles, and energy system. Isha Upa Yoga is a good starting point for those with no prior experience of yoga.

Also used as preparation for the more demanding practices in the syllabus. Offered as a short intensive or alongside drop-in classes.

Practice 04

Angamardana

Thirty-one dynamic processes rooted in yoga — to invigorate the body and reach peak physical fitness. Angamardana means gaining complete mastery over the limbs, organs, and other parts of the body.

This practice revitalises the body on all levels: muscles, blood circulation, skeletal structure, nervous system, and the basic energy system. Designed by Sadhguru, it requires no fitness equipment — only the body and the floor.

Practice 05

Bhuta Shuddhi

Bhuta Shuddhi means “purification of the elements”. It is a process of cleansing the five elements within the human system — earth, water, fire, air, and space.

A unique opportunity for everyone to benefit from a powerful science which would otherwise require intense spiritual practice over many years.

Practice 06

Yogasanas

A set of powerful yogasanas that enables the system to sustain higher dimensions of energy. This profound science enhances how one thinks, feels, and experiences life.

The program requires no special physical agility or previous experience of yoga. It is not merely physical exercise — it enables a person to flower into their ultimate potential.

If you learn to use this body as an instrument, it is the most fantastic and powerful instrument on the planet. Yoga is towards realizing this.
